Jun 03, 2017 · It's been almost 2 years since I built my FreeNAS box. I only really use the NAS for file storage. So no Plex, no minecraft server or any of that. It's basically a big external HDD for multiple machines. The plugin version actaully uses PMS version, but once you use the UPDATER script you’re PMS version is bumped to ‘Version 0.9.12.4.1192’ (for public downloads)… The plugin will still report the same version in the FreeNAS Web UI, case in what matters to the plugin its up to date until freenas releases new plugin version. I have 2 FreeNAS boxes. One box alerted me to today's update (20160524) and installed it but that update doesn't appear/isn't available for the other box which is stuck at 20160502. A new GUI built on Angular ships with Version 11, but is still in beta. Chatter in the FreeNAS forums suggests that testers of Version 11's four release candidates found little to complain about.
