Sep 15, 2011 · I have a Virgin (MBNA) credit card. On the 4th August I bought something for £200. A few days later, I paid £200 by BACS transfer to reset the balance to zero. However, I also have a Direct Debit set up to clear the balance. Using the direct debit, they withdrew a further £200. Hi All have always paid my credit card in full by DD. This month the payment doesn’t seem to have been taken, should have been around 27/4, and my card account says “your direct debit is being set up”. I’ve not made any changes to the DD. Anyone have similar issues?
